either way it's six more weeks to spring

February 2 is Imbolc, the Pagan festival that celebrates the coming of Spring. Fires are lit to symbolize the warming of the Earth. That appeals to me, since an icy blizzard is banging on these old windows. So my shot of the day is a tribute to Imbolc. And Marley photobombing the shot reminded me that it is also Groundhog Day.

January 20 came with a reminder that Spring isn't really that far away. This fresh faced flower brought some brightness to the day

January 18 falls into the" what a difference a day makes" category. 

Yesterday's frigid, unbelievably cold (and painful!) temperature was replaced by a day dressed as Spring. 
It won't be long now before we can return to the ocean...
